relatively portable in terms of yiddish dictionary sizes, doesn't have a lot of newer vocabulary but gets the job done
i'm glad i purchased this " must" for the enjoyment of yiddish.
If you can read Yiddish, this is a very good dictionary. If you can't read Yiddish, you'll not understand the translations.

Print inside the book was poor. Parts of letters missing. Many areas faded. Very unhappy. Difficult to use the book. Not easily readable.Poor printing of the book. Should not be distributed/sold.

I bought this to help me in my yiddish class. But when I got it I found the the yiddish words were in Hebrew style script. I need it to be romanized script.I gave it as a gift to my yiddish teacher because his copy was wearing out. My mitzvah for the day.
