About the Author
Maria Diaz is the author of 7 cross stitch books and has created hundreds of cross stitch designs. She studied fine art in Leicester, England. After graduation she joined DMC Creative, the world's largest supplier of needlework supplies, and became DMC's first in-house designer. Eight years later she decided to go out on her own. She moved to London and landed a contract as specialist needlecraft consultant with Eaglemoss Publications.

Great book. Covers a wide variety of patterns and projects. The way it's illustrated makes it possible to use these patterns for knitting, too. Very easy instructions to follow. I'm so happy I bought it.

If you subscribe to Cross Stitch Collections and Cross Stitch gold you will recognize her wonderful patterns. I like the book because you don't have to sort through past editions of the magazine and they are in one spot. Love the larger color charts also
